Roger Duncan graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations; following extensive travels in the Far East, Indo-China, the Near and Middle East, Europe and Russia, he attended the USC Gould School of Law graduating with honors in 1964.
Thereafter he practiced law specializing in general civil and family law. He has authored several books related to law, the family, education and literature and has had various articles published in magazines including the Journal of the California Teachers Association. His subject was segregation in the public schools. He is an acknowledged scholar on the author Jack London and a contributor to the Jack London Society Magazine. He is a founding member of Joy2Learn Foundation. He is now semi-retired and working in real estate.
